When the leaders of your industry, Farish and Jones, multi-millionaires at a minimum, are selected as the spokesmen to “plead poverty”
and beg for the opportunity to add Casinos to their industry, this appears to the guy making $20K/year and living in a tired old trailer, like the rich getting richer. I know the e-mails will roll-in saying that is not the case….but it is the perception.

Using the words “signature industry” for the horse business is appropriate. A signature goes at the bottom of the page, exactly where the KY. government intends the horse industry to be.

Obviously Sen. Williams is not the lone culprit. He is supported by a majority of legislators. Their major industry is basketball (under the guise of education) and their principal recreation is church-going. They see horses as a real and present danger to both.

Ky. voters never got to vote on a slots referendum. The legislature would not put a slots vote on the ballot.
